Smp ini didirikan pada bulan juli tahun 1994 oleh tetua desa yang dimotori oleh k. suudil azka. Berdirinya SMP ini merupakan jawaban dari tantangan perkembangan jaman dimana, tuntutan akan kebutuhan pendidikan bagi anak sangat perlu. selain itu SMP ini merupakan solusi bagi keterbelakangan pendidikan di kawasan dusun becok dan sekitarnya.
